We are pleased to announce that Loram has won two Minnesota Governors Awards for 2008. This is an award that Loram has won for twelve of the last thirteen years. Loram's Manufacturing Group received an Award of Honor, which is the highest safety award achievable in Minnesota. The Operations Group received the Award for Meritorious Achievement in safety. These awards are highly sought after, and are awarded by a panel of judges based on the following standards:
- Continuous safety improvement
- Quality of the company's safety program(s)
- Injury and incident rates
The winners of these awards are selected for their excellence in the categories above in comparison to similar industries on a state and national level. These awards are a great honor and achievement for Loram. They reflect not only our efforts, but our safety ethics, as well as making our Loram workplace a safe environment.
